Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you provide?
I provide independent LI|HEAP case review services focused on assessing eligibility accuracy, income budgeting, and documentation completeness. Each case is evaluated and classified as clean, minor, or major, with a structured report summarizing findings and compliance rates.
How does the review process work?
A sample of HEAP case files is provided electronically. Each case is reviewed for accuracy and compliance, and a detailed report is prepared outlining findings, classifications, and overall compliance rates.
What do "Clean," "Minor," and "Major" determinations mean?
How are Case files handled securely?
- Clean: Fully compliant with complete and accurate documentation
- Minor Error: A non-critical issue that does not affect eligibility
- Major Error: An issue that impacts eligibility or benefit determination
All case files are received and reviewed using secure electronic methods. Files are stored in a restricted-access environment and are not shared. All information is handled with strict confidentiality and deleted or returned upon completion.
What kind of issues do you typically identify?
Common findings include income calculation errors, missing or incomplete documentation, and inconsistencies between application information and eligibility determinations.
How long does a review take?
A small sample review is typically completed within a few days, depending on the number of cases and file accessibility.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is generally based on the number of cases reviewed and is discussed after initial interest, allowing agencies to first evaluate the value of the service.
How is this different from our internal review process?
This service provides an independent, objective perspective that can help identify issues that may not always be visible internally and supports overall program integrity.
